The State of North Carolina regulates schools by requiring teaching plans that fit the state’s academic requirements. Teachers commit to teaching the various grade-level topics at the prescribed pace. Students who fall behind get farther behind because the lesson plans are forward-looking. Consequently, these students LOSE PACE and perform lower than expected in their EOG scores [Source: dpi.nc. Gov].

Our R.I.S.E. program supports your child's academic journey, filling in any gaps in their performance and helping them achieve better scores on homework assignments and tests.

R.I.S.E. provides Homework Tutoring for grades 2 through 5. RISE focuses on homework tutoring in Reading and English and teaching students the social skills necessary for social success.

STUDENT REQUIREMENT.

​

 

Youth bring their low homework performance in Reading, English, or test results each week from the prior school week or prior assignments.

​

 

Youth who need mentoring to enhance their social skills work with an assigned mentor. Parents can bring their child‘s IEP, and we will work to assist the school in this development area.

 

We designed this program to ensure that students can keep pace with academic requirements and consistently progress in meeting the educational requirements of the State of North Carolina.
